Hello everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.... Me well I've been pretty busy round here.. My daughter Paige is going to be in the Miss Teen Texas International Pageant in March. Check out her blog here.... www.paigedianne.blogspot.com She also had her 13th birthday on January 25th. We went pageant dress shopping with some of her friends. Had a blast... my other daughter Peggy's birthday is coming up in March also. Acutally it is on the same day as Paige's pageant. March 22. So we will celebrate Peggy's big 10th b-day during spring break.

Any ways, I thought I would post some of my most recent scrapbooking projects and layouts. The first one is a gift I made for my father-in-law. I bought this acrylic album at a LSS (Scrapbook Haus) and instead of making an album, I made a wall hanging... Needless to say he loved it.

The other layouts are of my Paige and Logan. I love the distressed look. I've been using my Heidi Swapp Distressing Tool like crazy. I love that little .99 cent tool. Who'd of thought of all the expensive scrapbooking tools I own my favorite would cost the least.... LOL Well hope you guys have a great week and I'll talk to you soon. Thanks for stopping by..... Amy

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. For some reason every time I typed, it was changing the words to hindu?? Finally figured out how to change it.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We did.... It was wonderful to have the kids home for the holidays, but boy am I glad to have them back in school..... Love the routine.

I bought the TinkerBell Cricut Cartridge and this is my first layout with it..... Had so much fun. I also got the Story Book and Noel cartridges. Love Love Love 'em. Well, it's been a few months since my store closed, and I'm really missing my scrapbooking buddies.
My sister is getting Married in June so I made her a save the date card on Photoshop. I was so proud of my self, because it was one of the first things I've actually done in Photoshop Elements. I've had the program for over 2 years, but was just to busy to sit and figure it out. We also made her invitations, I'll have to post them soon.

Well, thanks for stopping by have a great week.

Hello, I know, I know it's been a while since I've signed on to this blog and written anything. It's been crazy around here. I hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our family did. Ate lots of turkey and dressing and just enjoyed being with our family.

Well, I have been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately. Since I closed my store, I have more time to shop and scrap. Loving that. I'll post some of my layouts at a later time.

Right now, I want to show you some of the Christmas cards I've been working on. I really havn't made to many cards, but once you start it is really addicting. I made several birthday cards too. Can't show you those, because I already sent them to the Birthday girls!!!

I used my one of my Sarah Kay stamps. It is not really a Christmas stamp, so I added a tree to make a cute Christmas Card. I used American Crafts paper, thickers and ribbon.

This card was made for the challenge on http://www.papercraftplanet.com/ You should check it out. The link to the Stampavie group is here: http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/stampavie

The next card is also a Sarah Kay stamp. Again not a Christmas stamp, but when I was checking out my Sarah Kays I chose this one because I thought mistletoe and how cute they would be together.

Thanks for stopping by and talk to you soon.

Well, I thought that I would post my first layout. This one was inspired by my own blog. See the colors and butterfly at the top of my blogger? You would not believe what inspires me. I will be walking through a store and something will trigger my mind. I even dream about layouts. I know call me crazy, I am super obsessed.

I usually don't scrap layouts of myself, but since I am starting a blog I thought I would do one of myself so those of you who don't know who I am can put a face to the name.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this layout. Don't you just love the Cricut Expression? How did we scrap before it? I used the Home Accent Cricut Cartridge to make the butterfly and the swirls. I used American crafts thickers for the wording. Don't forget the stickles......... Gotta add the bling.
Hope you have a great evening.

My new blog

Well, I know that you guys are really sad that I've closed the Scrapbook Corral. I am going to miss scrapping and visiting with you. That's why I've decided to do the blog thing. This way we can keep in touch. I also loved sharing my scrapbooking layouts and projects with you. This will be the new way I share my love of scrapping with you. I hope that you'll do the same.

I may not be a daily blogger, but I'll definitely try to update it regularly.

Well, it's time to pick up my kiddos from school. I'll talk to you soon.
